John Innes Potting Compost No. 3

Our John Innes Potting Compost No. 3 is produced exactly to the blend designed in the 1930’s at the John Innes Horticultural Research Institute.

This is the richest of the John Innes Composts with triple the nutrients of the No. 1 blend. Our John Innes No. 3 Compost is ideal for planting in pots, containers and raised beds; established plants, trees, shrubs and climbers, including fruit trees, bushes, vines and mature/large houseplants.

Our No. 3 product is also an excellent compost for vigorously growing plants such as tomatoes and chrysanthemums.
