Our John Innes Potting Compost No. 2 is produced exactly to the blend designed in the 1930’s at the John Innes Horticultural Research Institute.

Once your seedlings have established into healthy young plants, they will need potting-on. Our John Innes Compost No. 2, contains double the amount of nutrients found in the No. 1 mix and is ideal for the next stage of growth.

John Innes No. 2 is also suitable for most vegetable plants in containers and houseplants.
