Lawn Topsoil (S)

Our Lawn Topsoil (S) has been designed for Ornamental Lawns where a high sand content topsoil is required for improved drainage and structural qualities compared to a general-purpose topsoil. Scientific testing confirms that our Lawn Topsoil (S) is adequately supplied with both organic matter and nutrients.

The sand grading within our Lawn Topsoil (S) shows this topsoil should provide good aeration and compaction resistant properties. Generally high sand content lawn soils can have reduced water and nutrient capacities but this Lawn Topsoil has been designed with a slightly higher level of organic matter than our fast-draining turfsoil to help with water and nutrient retention. However, watering will be required in the dry conditions to maintain continued growth of the grass.
