Ideal for the varying UK climate, Xeris is a hardy turf, which withstands the UK's unpredictable weather patterns better than most other turfs, being tolerant of both heat and drought.
Able to grow in partial shade as well as wet or dry conditions, Xeris turf is resistant to wear and tear providing a robust, safe playing surface for children yet still giving an attractive appearance holding its vibrant green colour in hot weather better than any other type of grass when managed correctly.
Requiring less fertilizer than a conventional ryegrass based lawn, the seed mixtures used to grow our Xeris Turf are of the highest quality. A TGA approved quality turf, Xeris turf contains a mixture of top rated STRI cultivars which create a medium fine textured lawn with the following characteristics: Able to withstand drought conditions - Low Maintenance - Disease Resistant - Year Round Colour - Good Recovery Properties – Excellent Shoot Density.
Maintenance requires regular mowing at least once a week with a cylinder or rotary mower and a spring and autumn feed.
Xeris turf is supplied in 1m2 rolls, which are 20% larger than 1 square yard, which reduces laying time. For calculation purposes, a 1m2 roll measures 64.5" x 24" or 1640mm x 610mm.
Please Note: Orders for Xeris and Elite Turf cannot be delivered on Mondays and generally require three working days notice.
