 CONTRACT TOPSOIL
"Quality Topsoils at Budget Prices!"
Whilst Bury Hill has built it’s reputation producing high quality certificated planting and general-purpose topsoils and loams, which are widely regarded as being some of the best in the southeast. We have increasingly been asked by our trade and retail customers to produce a cheaper range of contract soils for when our premium grade soils are simply too expensive or over specified for the project. We have therefore produced a NEW range of ‘Contract’ topsoils, which we believe fully meet the needs of our customers regarding price, quality and availability.
Unlike many topsoils that are sold today our ‘Contract’ range of soils are produced from selected topsoils, which have been sourced locally and not from skip waste. Considerably cheaper than our premium grade topsoils, these budget priced soils are still blended using local sand and where applicable, organic compost. Screened in a range of sizes to suit budgets and requirements, 10mm, 12mm and 17mm, all our contract soils are available loose in 10t to 29t loads, whilst our ‘GP10’ and ‘Contract 12’ soils are also available in single and multiple tonne bags.
We stock many thousand of tons of each topsoil and are able to supply even large multi-thousand ton orders quickly and efficiently. All our soils are heaped to help protect them against the weather whilst our ‘GP10’ is fully weather protected during the winter months, meaning that even in the depths of winter, this soil is dry, friable and workable.
With the exception of our ‘Contract 17’ which is not currently certificated, both our ‘GP10’ and ‘Contract 12’ topsoils are fully certificated to BS3882:2007.

IDEAL FOR
Seeding
Turfing
Lawn Repairs
General Planting
Most Landscaping Applications
Strictly, our GP10 is not a contract soil, but a premium grade general purpose blended sandy loam with a small amount of organic compost added to ensure that it meets BS3882:2007. Screened using a 10mm Trommel screener, which produces a finished material closer to 8mm, ‘GP10’ is produced to a consistently high quality and used extensively by the trade for most landscape and contract applications where a quality outcome is essential.
Suitable for contract planting and turfing, many customers also use this fine blended topsoil for seeding owing to the minimal stone content. Owing to the popularity of this versatile topsoil with landscapers and the trade at large, we have chosen to include ‘GP10’ within our new ‘Contract’ topsoils.
One of our best selling topsoils, we normally hold 2/3000 tons of ‘GP10’ in stock at any time which is fully weather protected ensuring that the material is dry regardless of the weather.
