Bury Hill Topsoil & Logs has been supplying high quality topsoil to the landscape and horticultural trades for close to 20 years. Famous for our trade marked 'Bury Hill Black' a premium grade, BS certificated, dark rich, high quality organic blended loam, we have recently expanded our operation to include retail customers, delivering a selected range of competitively priced high quality soils and landscape products as well as seasoned hardwood logs, kindling and coal throughout a large area of London and the South East.
With a wealth of experience in meeting the high demands of the trade over many years, we are all too aware of the general poor quality of topsoil's being sold in the market today, which more often than not are produced from 'recycled' skip waste and 'as dug' soils and sub soils otherwise known as 'muck away'. Whilst these materials might be OK where there is a need for a bulk fill material, we would seriously question whether you would want to grow your vegetables or plants in such soils which in many cases contain fragments of building residue such as glass, brick and cement?
With a huge stockpile of our own organic material on site, which is a bi-product of the de-silting works that took place some 20 years ago on our 200 hundred-year-old lake, this is the secret ingredient for mixing with local sands and our organic soil conditioner to produce 'Bury Hill Black', a branded product exclusive to us. We therefore have no need to import or use recycled soils in the blending of 'Bury Hill Black', thereby guaranteeing our customers a reliably consistent high quality product year after year.
Whilst we are particularly famous for our 'Bury Hill Black', our other soils, landscape and turfing materials and firewood products are also sourced and produced with equal care and attention thereby guaranteeing our customers quality assured products at the very best prices.
